1. What data we collect

Under the UAE Child Digital Safety Law, we follow strict data minimisation. We only collect what we need to provide the learning service, nothing more.

About the parent / guardian (account holder):

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or over)
  • A secure hash of your password, never the password itself
  • The timestamp at which you gave parental consent

About your child:

  • Your child's first name only
  • Your child's age range (e.g. 3–4 years)
  • Your child's learning progress within the activities (which questions have been attempted and completed)

We do not collect your child's last name, address, school, photograph, biometric data, location, or any other personal information. We do not use cookies or trackers to profile your child.


2. How to download your data

You have the right to receive a copy of all personal data we hold about you and your child in a machine-readable format.

To request a data export, please contact us via our Contact Us page with the subject line "Data Export Request". We will respond within 14 days and deliver a JSON file containing every record associated with your account.

No identity-verification fee is charged. We may ask you to confirm your email address by clicking a link sent to the address on file before we release the data.


3. How to delete your data

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of all data associated with your account at any time. This is sometimes called the "right to erasure" or "right to be forgotten".

To request deletion, please contact us via our Contact Us page with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted:

  • Your account, password hash, and date of birth
  • Your child's first name and age range
  • All learning progress records, voice recordings, and saved drafts
  • All cached data in our backups (within 90 days, as required by our backup-rotation policy)

Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you want to keep your account but stop further data collection, see "How to withdraw consent" below instead.


4. How to withdraw consent

You may withdraw your parental consent at any time without affecting any data processing that took place before withdrawal.

There are two ways to withdraw consent:

  • Sign out and stop using the platform, no further data will be collected, though existing records remain until you also request deletion.
  • Submit a written withdrawal request via the Contact Us page (see below), we will mark your account as consent-withdrawn within 7 days, which suspends all data collection and disables activity progress saving.

Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete data already collected. If you also want existing data removed, please request deletion as described in Section 3.

My Little Voyager is the data controller for all personal data collected through this platform. If you are not satisfied with our response you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office or the appropriate supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
